ZZ Top

La Futura

Few bands are able to endure the tests of time, the ever-changing music industry, or each other... But after 40+ years and 15 albums, "That Little Ol' Band From Texas" are still rockin' strong!

Teaming up with legendary producer Rick Rubin to record their first album in 9 years - ZZ TOP's "La Futura" is a straight forward, solid Rock-n-Roll/Blues album.

Well-written songs with memorable hooks, signature solos, and trademark swagger;
The future sounds good for Dusty, Frank, and The Reverend Willy G!

Favorite Tracks:

The Cursed Remain Cursed

11 songs with enough venom to wipeout a small country - The Cursed Remain Cursed is the 5th album from VISION OF DISORDER and their first release in 10 years. Time has certainly done nothing to calm the band's face-smashing style!

Razor sharp riffs, bulldozing rhythms, and throat-punching vocals;
From start to finish, this album hits harder than a NY Giants DE in the Super Bowl!

Steel Panther

British Invasion

On the heels of its North American release, STEEL PANTHER BRITISH INVASION is #1 in Australia! As a result of this unprecedented demand, the US, Canada, UK and Europe are increasing their initial expectations for the DVD and as such the release date is being pushed back to allow for manufacturing needs to meet the demand.

New release dates:
US & CANADA: 10/30
UK & EUROPE: 10/29
GERMANY: 10/26

Steel Panther British Invasion filmed at Brixton Academy in London with 16 cameras by award-winning Director/Producer Daniel E. Catullo III (and his DC3 staff), features songs like "Asian Hooker", "Community Property", "The Shocker" and "Stripper Girl". The Bonus Disc includes a 40 minute documentary, deleted scenes and 5 songs from Download Festival 2012, and features a special guest appearance by Corey Taylor (Slipknot). Steel Panther is a balls out, twisted metal blending of Spinal Tap and your favorite 80s hair band, with adult side splitting comedy banter that must be seen to be believed. Recently referred to as a crude, rude, look at my crotch, boy band, a Steel Panther stage show is not for the faint of heart or prudish rocker. Prepare to be rocked, shocked and...well, you get the idea. Steel Panther British Invasion may leave you asking yourself, "Did they really just do that?"

Steel Panther is Michael Starr, Satchel, Lexxi Foxx and Stix Zadinia

WHO

WHO ARE YOU: An All Star Tribute to The Who

"WHO ARE YOU: An All Star Tribute to The Who" is a true homage to one of the greatest rock bands in the world, and includes sixteen tracks by a myriad of artists. The all star cast of country, punk, classic and progressive rock, and metal musicians and vocalists is first class, and includes members of Cream, Deep Purple, Def Leppard, Dream Theater, The Kinks, King Crimson, Nektar, Rainbow, Yes and many more. Some of the artist pairings are unique and inspiring; namely Mark Lindsay (Paul Revere & The Raiders) on vocals and Wayne Kramer (MC5), guitars on "I Can See For Miles", and country artist Gretchen Wilson's rendition of "Who Are You" with Randy Bachman (BTO) on guitars. One of my personal favorites on this record is "Love Reign O'er Me" with lead vocal by Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), Rick Wakeman (Yes) on keyboards, and Carmine Appice (Vanilla Fudge) on drums; and is, in some ways, better than the original (shhh!). A few tracks that stood out at first listen: "The Kids Are Alright" by The Raveonettes, "Won't Get Fooled Again" by members of Sweet, and "Magic Bus" performed by Peter Noone (Herman's Hermits), Peter Banks (Yes) and Ginger Baker (Cream)!

Highlights include appearances of former Judas Priest guitarist K.K. Downing on "Eminence Front", featuring John Wetton (Asia) and Derek Sherinian (Dream Theater), as well as the lead vocal of Joe Lynn Turner (Rainbow) and guitars by Leslie West (Mountain) on "The Seeker"!

Major props to prolific Producer/Engineer/Musician Billy Sherwood (Yes, Circa) who played drums on 8 of the tracks on this record. Is there anything this guy can't do?

"WHO ARE YOU: An All Star Tribute to The Who"

is a brilliant celebration of the band's nearly 50-year career, and is a must-have for any fan of the legendary music of The Who. The CD will be available in stores and via online retailers October 2, 2012. A 2-LP vinyl version will be released on October 16.

Stryper

Live At Java Rockin' Land DVD

Shot in 2010 in Indonesia, this DVD captures Stryper in peak form. Such awesome vocals, from lead man Michael Sweet, and vocal melodies from Oz Fox, and Timothy Gaines. Michael is gifted as a great guitar player as well, such awesome guitar tone. DVD captures entire set performing more than a dozen tracks almost in a true chronological order. The set list includes some of the common hits, but also some of the uncommon gems. Great Performance, Great Sound. Excellent DVD, a must have, even a casual Stryper fan.

Projected

Human

Projected are John Connolly and Vinny Hornsby (Sevendust), Scott Phillips (Creed, Alter Bridge) and Eric Friedman (Creed, Tremonti Project). This super-group's debut album "Human" was Produced by John Connolly and co-produced by celebrated rock Producer Michael "Elvis" Baskette.
The first single off the album is "Watch It Burn", arguably the hookiest tune on the record; "Bring You Back" features a guest vocal by Sevendust lead singer Lajon Witherspoon. Take note of John Connolly's tribute to Dimebag Darrell Abbott in the melodic track "12804".
There is no denying the passion that went into making this record. "Human" is a damn fine hard rock album with corpulently driven riffs and a few softer bits as well.

Live To Win

The Story of Motorhead broken down year by year from one of the insiders Alan Burridge. A little Pre History and he takes off from 1975 to the present day. With lots of never seen before photos, facts, gigs, and behind the scenes info. I was very impressed with the overall style of the book, the straight to the point writing, and the excellent photos. Motorhead - Live To Win is a very well written, and laid out high quality book. Hardcover and basically what one would call a coffee table book as it is sized about 12” By 10”. Over 200 pages of Awesome!

Full Metal Rock would be proud to call these guys friends and stamp our name all over them. They have been working hard on this release and it delivers. Also, one song "Forget You", features a performance by Clint Lowery of Sevendust on lead guitar. Misson To Lars

This is a film About Tom, He has a type of Autism called Fragile X Syndrome. He has had a goal for over a decade ...The Goal is to meet Lars Ulrich the Drummer of Metallica.

His siblings Kate, and Will set out to make this goal happen. Their Only Obstacle is Tom.

This is not a film about Metallica, it is a film about Tom.

In this film you will find Chaos, Conflict, and Struggle. But you will also find possibly the best Sister one could ask for in Kate. Behind the scenes would be Will, who manages to capture the entire journey on film, and could be the best brother one would want.

Will and Kate put the function in dysfunction and take you on an adventure of a lifetime, with Tom as the star.

Mark Tremonti

All I Was

Mark Tremonti possibly constrained in his formula band Creed, or fan favorite AlterBridge does not hold back or sandbag on his first solo effort. A progression, as he is at a place and time were he can return to his roots. This can be heard on All I Was in his guitar shredding, as well as his first crack as a front man, vocally and lyrically. This CD is epic, awesome, and simply has a confidence about it. All 12 tracks are killer and no filler. The solos, the drums, and the vocals all flow, groove, and will blow you away. The band is tight, like a band should be - like a band of brothers.

Fucking awesome - chills down the spine awesome!
