Memoirs Of A Madman

Coming October 14th on Epic Records/Legacy Recordings is 'Memoirs Of A Madman' by Ozzy Osbourne, to be released as a Single Cd, 2 DVD Set, and also a 180 GM Double Vinyl, and Limited Edition Picture Disk Vinyl. Let me tell you this is one Hell of an Awesome Release. Serving as a solo career spanning release, the tracks included in this set are all out amazing. From the early days of Ozzy's 1980 solo debut 'Blizzard of Ozz' straight up to his latest solo album 'Scream'

The Cd includes 17 of these tracks in chronological order. Perfect for any long term Ozzy fan, any recent fans, or fans of specific eras of his career. A well chosen selection of his music, that is relevant today as it ever has been in the past. For those who cherry pick songs off of iTunes, consider this album worth the purchase as it has all the songs you would purchase separately, all in one shot.

The real treasure here, in this release is the DVD's. Disk One is All The Music Videos. Some of these were in heavy rotation on Mtv, when they actually played music videos. But there are some real gems here, and several we have not seen in quite sometime.

Disk Two is our Favorite. The Live Performances. This disk includes many out of print and rare performances featuring many of the epic lineups that have played with Ozzy. Including Randy Rhoads, Rudy Sarzo, Tommy Aldridge, Jake E Lee, Phil Soussan, Randy Castillo, Zakk Wylde, Geezer Butler, Mike Inez, Joe Holmes, Robert Trujillo, Mike Bordin, Blasko, Adam Wakeman, Gus G, Tommy Clufetos. The Performances and selection of songs are all out epic.

All in all this is a great package, and an amazing documentation of what is the Legacy of Ozzy Osbourne
